Overview

An unforgettable journey through one of the world's most extraordinary countries

The Himalayan India Adventure begins in Delhi, one of the world's great capital cities, where students spend two days exploring Mughal architecture, colonial monuments and the vibrant chaos of Chandni Chowk. From there, a scenic train journey north brings the group to the foothills of the Himalayas and Camp Panther in Shivpuri, a riverside basecamp on the banks of the Ganges.

The seven-night basecamp programme is built around three core pillars: discipline and leadership development, outdoor education and soft adventure, and deep cultural immersion through community interaction. Students leave with a genuine understanding of Indian life, of themselves, and of what they are capable of when pushed beyond their comfort zone.

The trip is delivered in partnership with Energy Travel, one of the UK's leading school tour operators, and is fully managed from departure to return. It covers all five Ofsted personal development enrichment categories and comes with a full impact evidence framework built in.
