The Challenge – Breaking Barriers for Disadvantaged Students
Rhyl High School (RHS) wanted to provide life-changing experiences for students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The goal was to boost confidence, resilience, and aspirations by exposing students to new opportunities beyond their local environment.
Expanding Horizons and Building Character
Partnering with Enrich Schools in October 2023, RHS aimed to create a series of enrichment programmes designed to foster personal growth, develop key life skills, and encourage ambition.

Transforming Lives Through Enrichment
The Challenge – Empowering StudentsEverton Free School (EFS) in Liverpool sought to enrich the lives of secondary students by fostering resilience, broadening horizons, and providing unique growth opportunities. Many students had never travelled beyond their local area, limiting their exposure to diverse experiences.
Listening, Learning, and Leading Change
Since November 2023, Enrich Schools has collaborated with EFS to design programmes driven by student aspirations and aligned with the school’s vision. By conducting pupil voice workshops with three year groups, we shaped initiatives to match their needs and ambitions.
